Whenever I plan to travel, I always “research it to death” as my family likes to tell me. Learning about the way other people live is so fascinating!

I have also been accused of planning vacations around where and what I plan to eat. I’m afraid I can’t deny this either.

I have been fortunate to spend most of my career as a school Library Media Specialist (best job ever). As a librarian I spent a lot of time teaching, researching, and helping people fill their information needs. I loved creating and sharing resource guides for my students and teachers. The greater variety of relevant and trustworthy sources I found, the more satisfying it was. It felt like a great big treasure hunt!
